Simple Tips for Your Winter Detox
Jan 01, 2016After indulging in rich and sweet foods that typically accompany the holidays, many of us are ready to detox our diets and reboot our exercise routines. However, few of us realize how beneficial it is to detox our indoor air too. This winter and holiday season, reduce VOCs, sVOCs, and EMFs in your home to boost immunity.
The EPA estimates that we spend up to 90 percent of our time indoors, and that indoor air can be 2 to 5 times more polluted than outdoor air. During the cold weather season, indoor concentrations of threatening toxicants can increase as windows and doors are opened less. And our toxic exposures can be greater as we spend even more time indoors! Thus, detoxing our homes is even more important during the colder months.
